My First MR Hearing (September 24, 2010 at 2:00 PM RTC 150, Makati)

I was at RTC Br 150 Makati an hour earlier.  So, i went straight to the Clerk's office.  They were very nice.  And the other clerk open the court house so that i will be able to sit there.

I just sit there and try to feel comfortable with the place that will be my workplace.  You know lawyers belongs to the court room.  After a few minutes, other lawyers that will be having a motion hearing came.  

And most of them belongs to a big law firm while me?  i practice on my own.  That's how tough i am.  I have to because i don't want to work in a law firm.  I believe that it is better for me to practice on my own.  And i a very confident that i can do it because i am familiar and know the procedure.  

Well, my case was the last to be called.  And its not bad.  The judge is so nice, maybe he know that it's my very first appearance.  

I went home with the hopes that the judge will grant my Motion for Reconsideration.  Hopefully!

 

 

Contract Review at Odesk

Yesterday is a good day for me!  When i applied for the position of a Contract Review in Odesk, the employer responded right away and offered me the job.  Although its a small amount, $10, but i am happy because i have a work for that day.

At Odesk, even if you apply for a job the employer will not respond right away.  At times the employers job posting will expire without a word from you.  Too bad.

I'm so happy when i am done reviewing the agreement cause that means I'm $10 richer.  hehehe.

So those who are out of job try Odesk.  And to those who wanted to hire someone on an hourly basis, please hire me!

Interview with the BIR

Last Monday i received an email from the Human Resources Department of the Bureau of Internal Revenue, informing of my interview with them. 

I am surprised when i learned that i passed the series of exams that they gave us.  It was so hard and i almost quit.  I was not able to review my Mathematics.  We have a whole day exam with 8 sets of exam.  And time pressured! Gosh...

But anyways, i made it.

Yesterday, i had my series of interviews.  The first two interviews are ok but the last one is not.  The Chief of Staff of the Deputy Commissioner for Legal is annoying.  She's a bit arrogant.

My over all assessment is ok so now i'm really hoping to be able to work with the BIR. 

Prayers is what i needed now.

I hope i will be included in the shortlist considering my experienced is ok.

Are you happy with the SONA of PNoy?

Some are happy with the 1st State of the Nation Address of PNoy but others are not.

According to those who are not happy, the SONA should inform the public what are the plans that the newly installed President has for this struggling country.  The plan should be something that will give us hope despite of the economic crisis that we are in.

Another point is that,  the President has no concrete plans for the eduction as well as agriculture.  These two have been our problems.  Lack of school buildings, chairs, books etc. 

In the agricultural side, you know we experienced having rice shortage.  This is something because filipinos loves rice.

What do you think of what to expect in the next 6 years for this administration?

A Chihuahua named Manchas died when she jumped in between the canine invaders and the 4 year old son of her master.

A pit bull grabbed Manchas with its jaws and carried her away.

Jejomar Binay : The Vice President

Jejomar "Jojo" Cabauatan Binay is the newly elected Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines.  He was born on November 11, 1941.  Married to a Doctor.

During the election period, he always land the 3rd spots in the survey and indeed considered as the Dark Horse in the recently concluded election.  Winning  by a margin of more than 800,000 votes as against Mar Roxas.

The 15th President of the Republic of the Philippines

Benigno Simeon "Noynoy" Cojuangco Aquino III is the 15th President of the Republic of the Philippines.

He was born on February 8, 1960 and the only son of Senator Ninoy Aquino and President Cory Aquino.

He was a 3 term Congressman of Tarlac and elected as Senator on 2007 elections.

He is the first Single President.  His girlfriend is Shalani Soledad, a Konsehal from Valenzuela.
